Bio
Claudia Vasquez is a Senior Law Clerk at Griffith Immigration Law, where she supports clients on a wide range of immigration matters, including applications for permanent residency, naturalization, I-601 and I-601A waivers, and U Nonimmigrant Visas. Having recently earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law, Claudia is awaiting bar results while continuing to build her practice experience. A first-generation Latina, born and raised in the Washington, D.C. metro area, Claudia draws on her bilingual background and personal connection to immigration—her parents and family immigrating from Argentina—to serve clients with empathy and cultural understanding.
Before joining Griffith Immigration Law, Claudia earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she represented English- and Spanish-speaking clients in individual and business tax controversies as a Rule 19 Student Attorney at the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic. During law school she volunteered as an interpreter for the Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland and at USCIS naturalization interviews, deepening her commitment to ensuring access to justice for immigrant communities.
Claudia brings over a decade of prior experience in health care policy and legislative analysis, where she advised private payers, pharmaceutical companies, and government agencies on complex policy reforms. Claudia earned both her Bachelor of Science in Public Policy & Management and her Master of Science in Healthcare Policy & Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
In her free time, Claudia enjoys traveling with her husband, hiking with their three dogs, and trying new restaurants.
